Dear Friend 🌹🎶 Sparkly Singing Wishes 🎶🌹 🌹🎶 Festive Greetings for a Magical Midwinter and Happy Start to 2025 ⭐  So as 2024 whistles it's last chilly blasts and grey clouds cloak the shortest day, I'm wrapping up the year with a song in my heart. This sparkly e-card comes with a huge thanks to you and all friends who've stayed tuned and collaborated with me so generously this year.  With so much to test, distract and divide us, singing remains a magical superpower, one of the simple beautiful things in life that requires nothing extra - just the flight of sound on the wings of breath. For amidst the consumer pressure to expend time, money and energy externally, it's so often the simple things that bring us home - whether that's hugs, smiles and chats with loved ones or a bowl of warm soup on a cold day. 🌹🎶 Midwinter Sparkles

Dear Friend 🌹🎶 Midwinter Sparkles 🎶🌹 "For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream." Vincent Van Gogh, Painter (1853 -1890), in a letter to his brother Theo 1888.  As London lights up, I find myself simultaneously dazzled and reflective. Whilst enchanted by the glittering light displays amidst grimy urban nights, I stay tuned to the natural wonders of stars, moon, sky and trees. The first of December sees those who follow lunar tides firing arrows of hope with the Sagitarrius New Moon and the arrival of Advent for those celebrating Christmas. Amidst capitalist consumer pressures to spend and party, I endeavour to listen and attend to the human needs for rest, stillness, home, warmth and togetherness, whilst reaching for the stars with midwinter music. On my latest podcast, Chris Rowbury shares how simply breathing, listening and singing with a group of people can create magic.  So ultimately it's for each of us to attune to what helps us sparkle midwinter - today it could be a moment of wonder at the chilled cut crystal winter light bouncing off frosted window panes and tomorrow it might be getting snazzed up to sing or party with friends. 🌹 🎶 Vocal Revolution Episode 22 🎶 🌹 The Magic of Harmony Singing with Chris Rowbury In this episode, Chris Rowbury shares the magic that happens when you get a bunch of people in a room to sing in harmony together. Chris first discovered the joys of unaccompanied harmony singing when working as a theatre performer in Cardiff. The company devised their own shows and often included amazing songs from Eastern Europe and beyond. You can't sing harmony on your own, so Chris looked around for a group to join. There weren't any, so he set his own choir up and hasn't looked back since! www.chrisrowbury.com

But above all, the world needs dreamers who do." - Sara Ban Breathnach As the sun starts to set on 2024, rainbows of fireworks fizz through crisp November skies and trees don their technicolour displays to see out the passing year. Coats have always had magical associations - whether it's the capes of witches, wizards and superheroes or Joseph's Technicolour Dreamcoat. As the cloak of autumnal darkness wraps around us, we enter the hibernatory dreaming space. The explosion of year's end festivals and events invites us to dream collectively for a brighter future for humanity. In this fun episode, Cheltenham-based singer/songwriter D'Artagnan shares the magical festive love story behind his song Merry Christmas Darling and tells how Jack Nicholson offered to be his backing singer! D'Artagnan enjoyed a lot of success last season when his Christmas song Merry Christmas Darling achieved 80k streams on Spotify and was featured on ITV News and BBC Radio. D'Artagnan will be joining us at the Winter Sparkle Concert on December 6th in Crystal Palace. In his spare time, D'Artagnan likes to go rollerblading with his Tibetan Terrier dog Rufus.
