But above all, the world needs dreamers who do." - Sara Ban Breathnach As the sun starts to set on 2024, rainbows of fireworks fizz through crisp November skies and trees don their technicolour displays to see out the passing year. Coats have always had magical associations - whether it's the capes of witches, wizards and superheroes or Joseph's Technicolour Dreamcoat. As the cloak of autumnal darkness wraps around us, we enter the hibernatory dreaming space. The explosion of year's end festivals and events invites us to dream collectively for a brighter future for humanity. 🌹 🎶 Vocal Revolution Ep 21 🎶 🌹 The Joy and Love of Music with D'Artagnan Featuring Rufus the Dog & a very scary Halloween apparition! In this fun episode, Cheltenham-based singer/songwriter D'Artagnan shares the magical festive love story behind his song Merry Christmas Darling and tells how Jack Nicholson offered to be his backing singer! D'Artagnan enjoyed a lot of success last season when his Christmas song Merry Christmas Darling achieved 80k streams on Spotify and was featured on ITV News and BBC Radio. D'Artagnan will be joining us at the Winter Sparkle Concert on December 6th in Crystal Palace. In his spare time, D'Artagnan likes to go rollerblading with his Tibetan Terrier dog Rufus. When life gives you pumpkins...

Dear Friend 🌹🎶 Pumpkin Season 🎶🌹 "O hushed October morning mild, Begin the hours of this day slow. Make the day seem to us less brief. Hearts not averse to being beguiled, Beguile us in the way you know." - October - Robert Frost Grinning pumpkins and the bubbling of autumnal soup announce that October is here. Fluffy squirrel tails bounce about in the hunt for nutty treasures amongst conker-strewn pathways. Curtains of rain have closed behind summer and the icy fingers of Jack Frost have started tickling chilly mornings. The voyage  into the misty depths through the gateway of Halloween/ Samhain beckons. Like our nut-gathering friends, as the days draw in, we can focus on what will nourish us through the darker times - whether that's a big pot of soup, warm pair of gloves or uplifting singsong in good company. As it's the spooky, scary season, this month's vlog (below) is about  Doing the Thing in a way which gently overcomes fear whilst allowing us to access the magic and medicine of our creativity. 🌹🎶  The Great Pumpkin of Song 🌹🎶  Here's what's cooking in the October Soup Pot ⭐ Thankyou for supporting my fundraising walk ⭐ I walked 10 miles in 3ish hours along the Thames to support Breathe Arts Health Research who are facing devastating cuts to their arts and health programmes within the NHS.  Breathe Harmony NHS staff choir, which I co-direct with Mike King, is at risk.
