Dear <<First Name>>๐น๐ถWild Hope ๐ถ๐นYou can be very wild and still be very wise. - Yoko OnoOne of the wonderful things about summer is the freedom of longer days for wild wanders. Taking a walk on the wild side can literally help us see things differently.
Scientists have found that looking at the complex repeating patterns in nature, known as fractals, can trigger a cascade of automatic, positive responses, reducing stress and mental fatigue by up to 60%.
The roots of the word
wisdom teach us that when we see differently, we know differently - our awareness changes.
Wild = well = wise. There is a wild wisdom to hope.Whether it's a lap round the park, a wink at a fox on my street or a moment to bury my nose in a rose, wild moments rejuvenate my sense of hope. Not a rose-tinted glasses type of hope, but a grounded sense of interconnection with the life-death-rebirth cycle. For amongst the rose bush, leaves and petals continuously bud, bloom and fade and there's always the thorns keeping it real.
Amidst the human destruction of the environment and each other, it can seem wild to hope. Yet our hopes, dreams and longing open the pathways for new possibilities - for peace to be found in war zones and love to be found after heartbreak. Hope is a magical superpower found in the most desperate situations, springing up like wildflowers in a motorway central reservation. It's the wild card we can play when all seems lost, helping us survive, endure and move beyond difficult situations.
Hope helps us see beyond things as they are
with the wild, wise eyes of possibility. ๐น๐ถ
