Rose Sounds - Mighty May
A mighty flame followeth a tiny spark - Dante Alighieri
It
feels quite odd to start writing about the fires of Beltane/MayDay
amidst the downpour and yet it is there nonetheless, burning at the core
of every beautiful blossom that ignites the trees with colour.
For
as the welcome showers nourish the thirsty plants and dry earth, I
experience a teaching in flexibility- how to weather downpours of
emotion, burst plans or tricky circumstances whilst remaining connecting
to
the
spark of source within it all. Within every tear drop is a bubble of
laughter, just as each raindrop carries the light and every flame
springs from a tiny spark. It is by no means easy to hold fast to this
knowing when the storm is all around, and yet in those moments when the
sky clears, the brilliance made possible by its cleansing is immediately
apparent.
